Pepe’s Cheese Bitches playing Dodgeball

No, not like that.

The Winter ‘08 dodgeball season starts tonight at the St. Patrick’s Youth Center in Soho. If you have ever enjoyed throwing red rubber balls at your friends (or better yet complete strangers) you might want to check it out.

We will be playing Los Locos in the daisy colored shirts (think yellow) at 7:15pm and BGC in pine a half an hour later. Registration is closed for this season, but I encourage you to come out and watch as we are always looking for new talent. Who wouldn’t want to join this group.

If you can’t make the games, you can find us in various states of drunkenness at Boss Tweed’s on the Lower East Side afterwards. We’ll be the ones with an approximation of Pepe on our backs* (think if Gene Shalit and Mario of Super Mario Brothers fame had a baby).

* If you do come looking for us, our shirts are Iris this season (think blue) not yellow as depicted in the photos above. We can more than likely be found flipping cups, throwing darts and/or ponging beer.

[UPDATE]
Pepe’s Cheese Bitches were unceremoniously swept by Los Locos. Thankfully, we took out our frustration on BGC and scored a sweep of our own.

After week 1 we’re in a 2-way tie for 8th place (out of a possible 16) with 3 points.
