Cheese Bitches Ken and George, stricken with a case of post dodgeball insanity.
When last we left our heroes they had overcome insurmountable odds to penetrate the top quarter of the dodgeball league. Tonight, Pepe’s Cheese Bitches look to build on that success and break into the top 3 in the process.
Pepe’s will be facing off against two teams with losing records, which should help their cause. Match one puts the Bitches against 2Early4HappyHour at 7:30pm, followed by a second match versus We-R-All-Focking-Nuts at 8pm.
The harsh winter season has done a number to the roster thus far, and tonight is no exception. Promising rookie Christina Zagarino and hard nosed veteran Max Musicant are scratched from the lineup tonight due to illness and work respectively. Compounding the issue, a lingering ankle injury has kept burgeoning star Cate Foster sidelined through the first half of the season.
Victory is hardly guaranteed, so check back tomorrow for an update.
[UPDATE]
Pepe’s Cheese Bitches suffered a setback Wednesday night, losing their first match to 2Early4HappyHour 2-1. They bounced back in their second match, sweeping We-R-All-Focking-Nuts in 3 games.
After all is said in done, the Bitches are now in a 3-way tie for 3rd place. If you have 8 minutes to kill, here’s video of the second match courtesy of Dwidson Metayer.
