The New York Giants are Superbowl Champs
2008 has been a good year for New York sports so far, and we’re not even 2 months into it. First the Mets get Johan Santana, now this. Eli Manning and the NY Giants played a great game, winning 17-14 and denying the New England Patriots an undefeated season in the process.
I have to confess, over the course of my life I have not been a huge football fan. I save my energy for supporting the roller coaster of a baseball team that is the Mets. That being said, I’ve been watching the Giants for the past month, and they have been an exciting team to root for.
Congratulations to Eli Manning, my boy Plaxico Burress and the rest of the Super Bowl XLII Champion New York Giants.
My fiancée Adrianne would also like to give a shout out to Shaun O’Hara from her hometown of Hillsborough, NJ. She’s the reason I was watching the Giants in the first place, so there you go, congrats Shaun.
